I won't be there and haven't been there, but used to live in Chattanooga and two of my bands were based there. When I was there thirty years ago there was a pretty professional store off 75 S. North of Ringgold, possibly right off Battlefield Pkwy, "Sound Exchange" or something like that. That's where you went for P.A. and larger gear. There was also an old dumpy store in Rossville that I really liked because they had a pretty big stack of old used gear. There was another store on Brainerd just east of Oriole Where I picked up a pair of re-coned electric guitar speakers. Are any of those places still around?

Thanks Bob ! My time in Chattanooga has been spent and the Tiboli theater, the chat choocho, and a few resturants (I live 1 hour 30 min away) so I am not familiar with down town at the level to answer your questions. Sorry !

My future wife and I used to go on dates to the ChooChoo. We lived up on Lookout Mountain. Now that's a place I could retire to.

I live 20 mins away but still new to the area. I'll have to check these places out.

If the opportunity arises, be sure to check out the Brewhaus on Frazier Ave. It sits on the river downtown. Food and beer are fantastic. The spaetzle with a Hefe is my favorite.
