Sold my guitar to Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam!

I gave you guys a chance first, but ended up selling my guitar off of ebay to Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam (and solo) fame. I was surprized.

Not surprized- Guilds are the king of 12 strings - period. The 500 series was pretty much the top of the line.

If you watch closely, Guild's show up on MANY very well known artists videos. They tend fly under the radar, but are among the best made / sounding production guitars ever made in the USA.

How'd you know it was him? Was his ebay username Eddie Vedder?

LOL, it was probably eDdIeVEddEr1.

Sorry, not trying to discredit the OP, but what persuasive evidence was provided to prove it was Eddie Vedder?

Markd,

We're just friends having a few laughs. Congrats on your successful ebay sale.

Yes, this is certainly the case. Congrats on the sale, but on the other hand, sorry you had to let go of such a fine guitar!

If you see Eddie, can you tell him he still owes me fifty bucks!!!!

In response to those desiring evidence, I didn't know until I got paid via paypay. He used two different names for email and ebay account. He was traveling in Europe when the auction ended and I bugged him a few times about sending the money. He was very apologetic and nice to do business with. I did include a self-addressed stamped envelope, but I know he is on another tour right now. He may not have even seen the guitar yet.

Shhweeeet! Props to you.....and to Eddie for scoring this F512. You are right when you said it was offered for sale here at the AGF first. It sold on eBay for roughly 500 cheeseburgers more. Niiiiiice. Peace, out.....Kabookie

joegator81 09-03-2009 01:28 PM

that would make my day... I am a HUGE Pearl Jam fan!!!

Diamondave 09-03-2009 02:31 PM

"Into the wild" is one of my favorites...... If you have not seen the MOVIE or listened to the SOUNDTRACK Eddie did, do it NOW...

Irreverent 09-03-2009 03:27 PM

That is righteously cool!

Congrats on the sale!

Peace.
