Guitar Camp For Adults

Does anyone know of a Guitar Camp anywhere in the country for adults. If so please leave the details and website so I can research it. I think it would be really fun and very helpful to me. Thanks a bunch!:)

There are tons of them. It will be hard to make a good recommendation without knowing what kind of music you want to study/play.

Here is one list, I'm sure there are quite a few others:

I think Acoustic Guitar Magazine runs a list annually too. Fur Peace Ranch (Jorma Kaukonen) is nice if you like the kind of music they offer.

Puget Sound Guitar Workshop. They also have several retreats during the year, which I often attend...

I play acoustic/electric for 10 yrs. Write my own stuff and like the old 70's stuff. I am real good at the 3 chord songs. I have the month of April off and I haven't found a camp. I need help with my timing plus I love the whole, Workshop, camp, social aspect. I want to be with other people that love to play. I will check the magazines, thanks!! Any other ideas? Hey...maybe I could plan my own camp in April if I find a facility and about 25 FUN adults and a few instructors.......anybody up for that????

Check Steve Kaufman's guitar "Kamp" in Maryville, TN. Great camp, I've been and would be going again, but for the fact that my current location makes it a bit more of a trip than I'm ready for these days. You can get some info from Steve's site at www.flatpik.com (no connection or financial interest on my part).
