Up for sale is my Mcilroy A36c (#936). Bought in January 2015 and in new, virtually unplayed condition. This is a truly great guitar with an incredibly powerful voice and great playability.

Top wood: Italian Alpine Spruce
Neck: Mahogany 5 piece
Scale Length: 25.5
Nut Width: 1 25/32
Neck Shape: C
Depth at Endblock: 120mm

Any ideas about the taxes/customs when sending the guitar stateside?

I am looking for my 1st. Lowden and have spend countless hours trying to digest the new CITES regulations and Laceys Act. At this point, I have kinda given up trying to buy from overseas, too much ambiguity. There is a paragraph in the CITES regulation stating that the rules DOES NOT apply to personal/private items...I don't want to be the one to test this exception. Also, there is a 10% duty from customs. NAMM 2017 in Anaheim is around the corner, I was told by Bluedog Guitars in Canada that CITES new regulation which added ALL rosewood to Appendix 1 will be a huge discussion.

Thanks for the interest, this guitar sold a while back. The new CITES regulations make sending guitars overseas quite tricky!
