What Are You Listening To (live cover on my D18)

Yo AGF peeps,

Been awhile since I posted up in here. Nice to hear and see so many great performances here as well as new folks postin' their jam.

So here's a tune a recorded live at one my regular venues. It's really not one of the best venues acoustically and I'm cramped into a corner box, however, in spite of that and folks talking, it still came out decent for live just using my Canon camera.

I jus' wanted to start the year off with a song I love on my favorite guitar so here's Chris Stapleton's; "What Are You Listening To" on my Martin D18 with M80 pickup with both vox & guitar thru Loudbox Performer:

Thank you for taking time to listen,

eric

Eric,

First, you sounded really good, clean playing and strong vocals, well done !~!~!

Second, tough venue, I respect your concentration, been there, it ain't easy.

Props to you........;)

Great work! I had a hard time hearing the guitar over all that noise though.

The art of music in this shows in the dedication you bring to it, which I see in pretty much all your stuff. Very nicely done musically and inspirationally. Thanks for sharing.

I love that vocal, Eric.

Sometimes when people cover guys like Stapleton and Jamey Johnson it ends up sounding like Karaoke to me....but you performed that tune like you wrote it!

Much appreciated Doug, thank you! ...I'm sorry for all the back round yakin' but it goes with the territory. Hard to get decent recordings cuz I play lots of venues like this, but I try to give it a shot now & then.

Eric,

Love the sound of your d18, your playing, and love the sound of your voice man! I always enjoy listening to you, even though I may not say so very often. I appreciate what you do!

So nice and smooth, and musical, my friend. I really enjoyed it. As for the venue, being as self-conscious as I am, I prefer it when people don't pay too much attention to me. ;)
