Pomeroy A2 ?
Hello everyone ,
I know this is the "Acoustic Guitar "forum but I thought I'd ask if anyone has had any experience with Pomeroy mandolins and the A2 model. I have not had an opportunity to play one of these . Any info would be appreciated. Thanks , Dan |
I've moved this to Open Mic because it's about mandolins rather than guitars. As a mandolin afficionado, I recommend checking out Mandolin Cafe as the best source of all the information you could ever need about mandolins:
http://www.mandolincafe.com/ I've no experience of Pomeroy mandolins, but fwiw I haven't heard anything but good things about them. Fliss |
I had a Pomeroy A-2 for a few minutes about 5 years ago. It was a black beauty, great tone, great playability. Good mandolins. I only sent it back as the side position markers were incorrect, and the maker had no interest in fixing them, he was nice about it though, and I hold no hard feelings.
Pomeroys have managed to keep their value, and real mandolin players (which I'm not) seem to love the heck out of 'em. |
Hey Guys ,
Thanks for the info. I have been over to "Mandolin Cafe ".(Really the Premier mandolin site ). Thanks again. (sorry about posting in the wrong section ) Dan |
