SOLD Canadian Larrivee Parlor Spruce over Koa
4 Attachment(s)
Thanks for all the interest folks: I've replied to all PMS.
This fine little guitar was born in 2001; it’s one of the second generation of Larrivee Parlors with a bound fretboard. I’ve owned it since around 2003–it traveled with me many miles back when my job shifted me about between the US and the UK. 3/4 nut, of course. Ebony board, bridge, and headstock veneer with a bit of flame. Nicely tanned tight spruce top, finely tigered Koa back and sides. All solid wood, hand made in Vancouver. Satin finished body, lacquered neck. There’s one birthmark—a bit of fatwood on the lower bout—I’ve clipped a picture of it. The guitar is in excellent condition. Nice large frets have plenty of life left. Comes with a hard shell, plush-lined TKL case that has nicks and scratches. Guitar has been gigged in smoke-filled clubs, but not in a decade. I don't smell smoke. I’m selling it because I need to finance another purchase. I love this guitar, but it gets little play now. For specs and comparison, please see this Chris Hadfield model:https://www.larrivee.com/products/p-01-iss-reissue. Notice that that’s the price for a mahogany model. Koa is a major upcharge. I’ve priced this to move. 1050 PayPalled, shipped, and insured to lower 48. Firm price. Please no trade offers.Attachment 105944 |
Bump for a koa parlor
|
Nut width is 1-3/4" correct? Do you have string width measurement at the saddle?
Thanks! |
Hi Warndt,
Yes—1 3/4 and 2 7/32. Thanks for asking. |
I have a Larrivee Parlor (Rosewood) and I believe you would be hard pressed to find a better parlor for under 3K on the planet.
Best of luck with your sale, Ron |
