If your busking in Canada I can't see you going wrong with any one of many Neil (Young, of course) tunes.

Also, what about a Dead tune like "Bertha" or "Friend of the Devil"? I'd also throw in Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind" or "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" (but only if you've got a good memory for lots of verses).

Hey Steve - where are ya? I am in Ottawa. AKA - "Not the greatest place to busk"ville. The only place I ever see buskers are in the market, and they are generally bad. You also now need a license to busk, and it ain't cheap.

If busking in Canada do at least three Tragically Hip tunes. The tips triple immediately. Pigeon Camera slays them every time.

Belleville - 45 mins West of Kingston. No licence here - yet. Mostly Farmer's Market and one of the large grocery stores allows it.
