Really nice Jimmy Buffett Polliwog from 2003. Limited edition model--this one is #293 of 305. Interior label signed by Jimmy and CFMartin IV.
Nice patina on the Sitka spruce top and very nice genuine mahogany back and sides. This is a 12 fret guitar so you get that wonderful extra volume from the elongated body. Several notable features:
1/4" scalloped bracing
Ebony fingerboard and straight bridge
25.4" scale
Open back gold tuners
Tortoise binding with unique rope wood inlay
Jimmy signature in pearl inlaid at 20th fret
Large Captains ship wheel inlay in 5th fret
Multi material headstock inlay of ships window, swaying palm, island and sky
Blue paua shell soundhole rosette
Low profile neck with 1 13/16" nut
Very cool original medium brown leatherette Geib style case with 6 latches

Guitar has a wonderful Fishman Ellipse Blend pickup installed allowing you to blend between the undersaddle pickup and the interior mic. Easy access sound controls through sound hole.

Condition: near excellent for a 14 year old guitar. No dings, gouges, cracks, bangs, bruises or knocks. There are some very faint pickmarks on the front that are on top of the finish. Can likely be buffed out. Some mild, non-surface impact button scratches on the back. Impossible to photograph. Various minor surface imperfections none of which dent into the finish. Guitar plays great. Neck is perfectly straight, action is low and there's tons of saddle to work with in the future if needed.

How's it sound: fantastic! Huge balanced volume from a smaller body guitar. Loud! Plays bigger than its size.
