Just bought it......Supro 1624T Dual-Tone Amp 24-watt 1x12" Tube Guitar Combo Amplifier.

Got a great buy on a like new, used Supro amp......I saved about $400 buying used....

You're keeping this subforum alive, MM :). Congrats on the Supro. I'm sure it sounds great with your pedalboard.

Actually I'm not going to use the pedal board with the Supro, maybe just the Hall of Fame reverb pedal. The Supro has a sound of it's own. This re-issue is as close as you can come to the amp Jimmy Page used on the making of Led Zepplin 1 & 2. It was also used by the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and a bunch of others. I even heard a demo of "Born on the Bayou" by CCR using this amp...it had the sound down.

It's going to be set up in my computer room for recording and jamming along with the internet and cd's.

Thanks. I first started looking at the Supro's about 3-4 months ago. I heard somebody playing some Led Zepplin thru it and it was spot on. There seems to be a general consensus that they are great amps. Today I got lucky and found a nice used one at a good price....and jumped on it. They are hard to find used.

I also heard somebody play Gimme Shelter thru it and it also was spot on....I can't find the video though....

Scheduled for delivery on Tuesday by the end of the day....
