I Thought Ukuleles Were Supposed to be Small

I was at Elderly Instruments yesterday and talked to the guy who brought this in. His friend made it. It was there to be verified as a World Record attempt for the longest playable ukulele.......13 feet. He said the current record is around 7 feet. It was pretty cool to see.

Ukulele means "jumping flea". I'm not sure how to say "jumping giraffe".:D

I know this thread hasn't been active for a while, but I just saw it, and I couldn't resist.

"Jumping giraffe" in Hawaiian would be "kilape lele".
