New to Forum, New to Guitar, and NGD!
 

Hello all! I'm a beginner with about four months of practice on a borrowed Squier SA100. Just yesterday, I got a Guild GAD D125 for my 40th birthday.

I'm following the justinguitar courses and got a huge compliment over then weekend. A friend's dad has played guitar for over 50 years and at our jam session, he thought I had been playing for a couple of years, not just since October.

Obviously, I still suck but I love this new hobby. Anyway, just thought I'd say hello and join the fun!

Welcome, I think you'll find this is a great place to hang out but I warn you, it is addictive. My wife just rolls her eyes as I lust after all the guitar porn that's posted here.

Loved your post and don't worry, all of us go through ups and downs and at times are unhappy with our playing. This is the best support group you'll find for your guitar passion/obsession.
