SOLD Bourgeois Signature D MadRose/"Bearclaw" Adi $3850 shipped (new video)
 

For sale is my 2012 Bourgeois Signature D (Serial #5953) made with Madagascar Rosewood and a beautifully figured "bearclaw" Adirondack Spruce top. This is the only true "bearclaw" Adirondack top that I have ever seen where the figure is actually present over the entire top of the guitar. I bought this guitar from SoundPure Guitars in Durham, NC in October of 2014 and I am the original owner. The guitar is near mint with nothing beyond normal play wear (no dings, indentions, cracks, etc.) and has been kept humidified in a smoke free environment. It looks the same way that it did when I bought it but sounds better as i have played it in. The price is $3850 and I will cover shipping to CONUS at that price.

Headstock Overlay: Madagascar Rosewood (SoundPure says Ziricote but this is definitely not Ziricote...I own two guitars built with that wood)
Bridge: Macassar Ebony (looks very cool)
Tuners: Waverly with Snakewood Buttons

This is a very choice example of Dana's work, and I'm amazed no one has snapped it up. I've played this particular instrument, and it's in the top 1% of dreadnaught-bodied guitars I've ever had the pleasure of touching. Insanely low price too.
