Yeah! Saw that in the Vintage King newsletter. Apparently they’ve also released an SDC and an LDC for modeling. Slate and Co. have some competition : )

Although I know they make good conversion, anyone every heard or used an Antelope preamp before? How with this box compare to my RME UCX?

Some pretty good deals indeed. I find myself saving for a pair of M295s at the moment, though [emoji51]

I bought a Zen Tour ~ a year ago. It was so good I sold my Apogee Ensemble TB (which was really good as well). Ifound the preamps in the ZT clean and very useable. The internal FX are stellar. Latency through a DAW (PT, Studio1, Logic) was as low as my HD Native system (sold last year). Tracking with their onboard FX has the lowest RTL I have ever seen. 0.3ms at 96kHz, 0.65ms at 44.1. Their internal FX add 2 to 6 samples per instance.

These were all so good that I sold an HDX system and got an Orion Studio 2017. Preamps and A/D are so good that I often use the Orion preamps instead of my NPNGs for acoustic guitar (pair of Josephson C716s). Latency is the same as Zen Tour.

The new line looks to be very similar to the Zen Tour in conversion. Strangely the company is somewhat chaotic in that each interface is slightly different conversion. Regardless - the Orion is as good on A/D as anything I have owned and the Monitor out D/A is better (compared to Apogee Ensemble, AVID i/o and Dangerous Source) to my ears...

The new ones are probably pretty darned good. They only come with 2 ch of FX. To get all channels is a very similar price point to - the Zen Tour and Orion studio. The mics are intriguing - love to try one for fun.
