Up from the depths!!!

Hey Gang.

I played this at a LARGE senior living facility Sunday. Two big adjacent rooms. Dining and living. About 45 or 50 folks, pretty enthusiastic!

My pal Steve, "shorthand" went with me. He said he could hear this guitar very clearly from the other side of the room with my back to him! And it sounded GREAT!!!

The thing is an ABSOLUTE CANNON. and I am playing thumb style. No flatpick!!! I do use a thumbpick, tho.

The bevels and soundport are very comfy and really help a lot.

John, you are a MONSTER LUTHIER!!! Thanks so much!

Can not wait to get going on the next one... WOOHOO!!!

Cheers, all

Paul

One more update...

Last Friday I had two gigs. one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both in noisey places. I took both my JKs. Went great, and everyone was happy, especially me!

When I got home at about 5 I had a message hoping I could play as a sub, three more hours that evening at a local restaurant/roadhouse, which I really like!

Off I went with both JKs again. Played about 4 1/2 hours total that day and drove about 135 miles to do so. Not bad for a lifer musician old enough, but not rich enough to retire!

John's super necks, made to fit my grip, and the astounding tone and volume of these guitars really made a huge difference. Most folks use an amp or PA at most of my gig venues. I get to play acoustic and move around, to where the fun is!

Thanks John! Let's get going on the next one ASAP!

Cheers

Paul
