Radio City Music Hall.
They don't tour like this often (just Dave & Tim acoustic)
I've been lucky enough to catch this show twice. I plan on making this my third :) And that will bring te combined "Dave" related show total to 32 shows.

Before you know it you'll be at show 34 then 36 then 41. It's all downhill after that. Have you heard anything about them coming further south?

Have you seen pricing on eBay for the Boston show? Insane....from what I've seen, everybody and their brother has put in a request for RCMH (including me ;)). I'd love to go, but getting tickets is going to be pure luck.
I've already got my tix for 4/20, and fortunately my company's main office is in Boston, so I'm making it a business trip.
Now, I'm attempting to make my D+T shows double my full band shows (mainly because I prefer D+T to the full band).

Well for the last tour I got RCMH ANDDDDD 3rd row for Rhode Island. So I could live with it if I got skunked this time.

ya know, i was just thinking about radio city music hall last night... that was probably one of the toughest tickets that i can recall over the past 10 years that i've been seeing the band.
last minute red rocks, d+t wherever, roseland ballroom, msg2 shows where tix are usually very tough, sick seats to alpine, etc... i dont think any of those tickets were as tough as radio city in 2003.
i guess i didn't even contemplate trying to WH tickets for any of the d+t shows out east... i do have a gig scheduled for 4/21 which kinda throws a kink in any plans... i guess i just hope his voice holds up for radio city having played the two nights previous.

Well if it's true that he quit smoking, then it's definitely possible. From everything I heard, his voice was hugely improved for the Europe shows.

well that's good to hear... the only feedback i got was from two friends who were across the pond for a few of the shows, and they didn't mention anything about the voice... moreso about the venues, experiences, etc.
speaking of which, when will we get some summer tourdates? not sure if they're even done re-arranging the tour yet anyway, but it woulda been smart to annouce them before 20,000 people go blow their life savings in vegas this weekend ;)

Hahaha....yeah, apparently it's been pushed back and now won't start until August. Announcement should be coming soon. I'm thinking right afer Vegas.

Tim Reynolds will be playing at Starr Hill Music Hall http://www.starrhill.com/Event/699 in Dave's hometown of Charlottesville, Va on 4/3. Starr Hill is coincidentally owned by Coran Capshaw, DMB's manager. Who knows what might happen that night............

Don't get me wrong, but if I were Tim, I wouldn't necessarily want Dave to show up at MY gig. I would love sitting in with Dave, but when it's your gig, you don't necessarily want Dave to come in and steal the show.
A lot of the crowd is probably going to show up hoping for that though

Plus, Dave lives in Seattle at the moment so it's even less likely that he's even in the area.
I almost forgot, I've never been declined for the ANY Garden shows AND I got tix to the MTV Somedevil special. (that's the same night I had the picture taken with Dave thats in the members photo section) So if I never got tix again I'd be happy.
BUT, of course I will still try:)

Hmmmmm, so many "Warehousers" so far from Toronto ;) Been going to shows for 8 years now but didn't join the WH early enough to make a senority impact. Anybody wanna gimme a hand in August :D
And wow, those Cologne pics are sweet. I just found out that I'm likely going to be on an MBA exchange in Holland next term 30 minutes from Cologne and Brussels ......if only it had have been for this term...... :(
(wow, just noticed after seeing the post.....that's lots of smileys)

Antz: Any chance you're going to the University of Maastricht? That's a good school, and nice city as well!
Thanks for the comment on the photos btw

Hey man, yeah I am, I didn't notice that you were in Holland cause I was still drooling over your pics? Just gotta make sure I can find the courses that I want and then I'm set. How far away are you from Maastricht? I'm bringing a Taylor over with me I think. Too bad that I'll have to leave the 914 home alone though for the 4 months. Don't think I'm gonna trust Joe baggage handler with that baby.

Sweeeeet, thanks buddy. Looks like I may be leaving for the above mentioned trip in the last week of August. I sure hope they fit in the shows I can get to before I leave. That would be the ultimate bad timing year...... In Canada while they play Europe, then in Europe when they play Canada

Great pictures Mark. Looks exactly the same as the Oxford gig I went too. I haven't seen him live before so can't comment on whether his voice was better than previously, I just thought the whole show was amazing and both D and T were on form.

Same here. Still working on some possibilities and, of course, they go on sale via TM on 3/31 at 11:00 am. Get working that phone!
You planning on going to UMASS?

Anyone in the Boston area?

I made it to Boston and Amherst. Boston was a great venue, Amherst was a better show.
But Dave's voice is back :woohoo

Good news: it was taped and shot for video. Expect a release.
I know a lot of people hate on Dave on this and other boards, but this show was an incredible example of the talent of DM as a player, performer and writer.
Reynolds, while a little too crazy sometimes, is not of this planet.
Honestly, Dm has done more for acoustic music than almost anyone in the past 30 years, hands down. They were just on fire this week. BTW, I did not go, but already have a recording of the show and was just blown away. The guy sounds great, and you could tell they were feeling it.
For the doubters, give the show a listen.
Oh, Vegas was AWESOME.
