Good Day everyone,

I got to see Don www.donalder.com perform last night in the new "Listening Room" at J Michael Instruments www.jmichael.com. Don played 2 sets about one hour each of all original material (except for one surprise song). Besides musical chops, Don's a very energetic performer, an excellent entertainer and tells some great stories throughout the show. His shows are one of those life experiences you should never miss!!!

Jay, the owner of J Michael Instruments of Melbourne is really trying to reach out to the acoustic guitar community locally here in Florida. The new "Listening Room" which is part of the store, is a very nice set up that includes a raised platform stage, Bose L1/2B1 system that sounded fantastic and seating for up to 50 folks. Jay hosts an open mic every Thursday evening alternating "solo guitar only night" with "regular open mic night" Music ONLY Please (I think Jay mentioned "leave the poetry for coffee houses"). Speaking of coffee, Jay also sells coffee, soft drinks and snacks. Jay will also continue to bring top musicians in to the Listening Room for Clinics and Performances. Some up coming shows.
