Feb 10, Saturday night - me and DonBob have a gig that night from 7pm to 9:30pm. So, we are both out.

Hey that's pretty close to me, not sure what my schedule is that weekend yet though (we get last minute gigs a lot).

So are non-Fender owners welcome too? :D

I can bring my PRS and my Ernie Ball (though 7 strings tend to scare most people :D).

Steve, so you & Don would rather honor your commitment to a
paying gig? What's the world coming to :D?

Jeffrey, grab yer banjos & come on by. Sacblues, who ramrodded the latest FDP Houston-area jam, is a harp player; seeing him fit those harps into his pockets was amazing!

Good people, good music, & a good time. Be there if you can!

Yes, we have gotten quite busy (well for us, anyway) on gigs, just about every weekend, so 3 or 4 times a month.

I'd love to do it, but it'd be nice to carpool with someone from DFW...

My better half can't make it, so I'm looking to carpool from the Houston area.

Cheers! Chris

A bump as the date is this Saturday. I'm planning to attend, but will be driving back to Houston after the jam. I'm trying to hook-up with a fellow FDPer to carpool, but don't yet know if that's workable. If you're interested send a Pm or Email. I'll even take my weekly bath a day early!

I'm sorry I can't make it. A death in the family....

Click on the link in my initial post for some photos & comments. Houston and Dallas were well-represented; I'm not sure how many folks came in from other places. The Ranch Steakhouse has neat arrangement, a nice restaurant on one side, & a make-yourself-at-home honkytonk on the other side. Roomy stage, plenty powerful PA, large dance floor, plenty of seating, many TVs (one huge big screen), etc.

See you next time! Chris

I tried to get a moment of silence for those who weren't able to attend, but the playing never stopped long enough :D.

Franchel, Mo says hi, & that she wants you to bring your mando to the next GTG. She recently bought a mandola.
