It would be great to have you here.... Too bad you don't have to still make trips out here to So Cal.... You could be the guest of honor if you came out again. :D
Hope this year is full of great blessings.... (for us all!) :D

Hi all,
I'm confirming my coming in, I forgot to ask Dennis if I should bring my guitar or not? Still getting sore fingers from 4 hr straight last night!
One thing for sure, I expect to hear a lot of music from Russ, Russ, Dennis (love to hear them all), and whoever show up and also from our guest of honor from D.C., sorry that we'll miss Anthony and Mable. I volunteer to harmornize any songs of CSN & Y, Simon & Garfunkel....etc.
Where are you SteveS?
I'll bring along some drinks, and also still so full from last year's food.:)
P.S. Thanks for the invitation for my wife, but she went out with her friends before I read this thread and she won't be home until late afternoon, may be next time. But the worse half will be there.

Hi again Dennis,
My wife called about 15 min ago, said she'd like to come along but she and her friend coming back from Murietta and she said the traffic is not that very smooth.
Her friend (just one lady) likes to come along too if you guys don't mind, I'm waiting for them at home now and hopefully we should be at your place before 4.00 p.m. and never mind about food like I said we had more than enough last night! I guess we just come for relaxation with you guys after big party last night that we went to at Granada Hills which is not that very far from Rebecca!:D

Hi Dennis,
Guess what?, I woke up and turn on the old cowboys CD that my wife just got from her friend and the very first song was "He'll have to go" by Jim Reeves that your dad sang and played with your guitar. That's one of the highlights of the gathering and that makes me wondering if I could sing and play like that at that age!
And yes we had a very nice cozy time listening to Russ & Russ (Sounds nice for a band, isn't it?) the few others were kind of shy to jump in and how can we play without TJ and his electronic drum and his wife Karen? He added a tight rhythmic to the group.
And what's that song again? the one that you played your guitar in key of D and then Shoko sang along and sounded so sweet and haunting?
And Russ Bo, you certainly are the light of this party, without you coming over who else gonna sing the short song "American pie" and all other good songs of yours especially that one by "Green Day" that had the never ending rhythm and made you wanna get up and dance along, and very please to meet your wife and honor guest from D.C. too.
Thanks for food and everything else, sure glad we came, my wife and her friend had a good time and asked me to thanks all of you.
We missed Twyla because of her Computer stuffs, so we'll see you next time.
Hope to see you all and even more at next gathering wherever it will be.:)

Hi, guys! Dennis, thanks to you and Shoko for hosting our New Years get-together. Brenda and I had a great time, you guys were great!
Nap, always a blast to play guitar with you, you are a multitalented musician, my friend!
Russ, thanks for bringing some great Koa examples, my wife is now asking me how much it will take to get one of our own! :D
Looking forward to the next time we can all get together again!
