We are probably going to be moving in January, to a larger house in Simi Valley, if our offer goes through this week. Our house is sold if it does. Once we get settled, I would be happy to host an event. But as for January, that would be too soon, as I imagine that packing and unpacking will take awhile.

I would like to get together also but timing is something I am also struggling with.

This time of year has so many demands that it is hard to think about adding something else.

"IF" I'm able to finish the construction around my house by the end of Jan., I would be willing to host another gathering here. in end of Feb or early March, but I need to get done before making any commitments. If a gathering is done before then I might be able to make it but no commitments at this point.

I will have to confirm whether this is possible due to it being my folks house, but I am pretty sure we are welcome to use their house, as I have discussed the possibility before. Unless someone has a different idea, is this agreeable?

Depends on when for me. I am moving between New Years and the second week of Jan. Lots of packing and unpacking to do. If it's later in the month, or in Feb., I could probably make it. I can also bring a nice compact PA, if you need one.

Thank-you Sterling and Steve! I am thinking definitey some time in January. As far as a PA is concerned Rebecca, I have that covered. I will see what options there are for dates and get back to you all. Hopefully we can choose a day that most of us are able to attend.

The possible dates are as follows:
Dec. 30 & Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27 (All Saturdays)

Please list which days you can attend in order of preference so I can lock in a date. I am even open to having two gatherings if necessary. The house is spacious with a large backyard with grass to setup a PA outside if whether permits. I am happy to provide all food and drink!

Hi Rick.... Thanks for making your place available. I just made a commitment for weekends (days) thru Jan and it may continue longer if things look promising so I won't be able to make it that far south.:(

I can make an evening available while Jennifer is here in so cal at my house.
I've talked to (Russ) KoaGuitarman and he can make it.
