Okay, I'll admit it... I find myself wondering where the wood I chose ended up? Is it still at the venue on a table, or perhaps in someone's office? Have they started glueing the redwood together? Or was my fiddleback mahogany neck used for a pry bar to open some guy's tailgate.

Maybe it will be dropped off a bench as they're ready to ship it. Or worse, maybe UPS does have the last laugh as it falls off the truck somewhere between Barstow and Las Vegas.

Anxious? Me? Naw.

Guys guys, come on, its not about the wood, or the guitar, its about the EXPERIENCE that we all shared together- that should be enough!

(I wonder if Ed got the 50 dollar bill I slipped in my wood folder to make sure mine gets to the front of the line....) :D

I'm sure Ed wouldn't even consider doing such a thing....for anything less than $100!

What a relief..... !!!!!

I don't feel nearly as guilty now about leaving my Visa AND the M/C in the folder.

Thanks.

Hey....BTW.....speaking of the wood.....

Has anyone revealed yet whose folder(s) it was that was damaged by the fork-lift the following Monday morning? I thought we'd have heard from the suicidal forum member(s) by now.

I don't remember all the particulars....it was either one folder with two guitar sets or two seperate folders....I'll check to see if I still have the email....

The two damaged sets were:

African Mahogany B/S set with a Redwood top set.

Ziricote B/S set with an Engelmann top set.

....and....supposedly.....one of the sets was salvageable with some common luthier tricks.....

Just curious....
