Well I guess I've been gone too long and when I need
a fix it is just hours away . I was raised up on Pea Ridge
on Hazel Mill Road and rambled all over Lester as a kid
hunting on farms and carryin' on. Left home at 17 and
ain't been back but I do a lot of work up that way .

I do renderings for some of the folks up there and it keeps
me interested. Land costs have gotten so ridiculous I guess I wont be retiring to the Mountains unless I find
a place up in the North Georgia Mountains.

Lots of pickers here to, though I have met a few from up
your way and some good ones too.

Sorry you can not make Monroe.

Not there now...but soon as someone buys my place in Northern VA I'm moving down there - Hendersonville or Arden probably. My daughter lives in Greenville...but I'm not living THERE!

In fact I was in WNC this week househunting.

What kind of motorcycles? I ride a BMW RT.

I've got a Bandit 1200S and a '78 KZ650. As I'm sure you're aware, we've got some fantastic roads in these here parts. Just rode about 350 miles yesterday (79 degrees in November!).

Let me know when you are in the area househunting or moving and I'll show you some of the local scenery.

And we can jam some, too.

You sound like my kind of rider...I usually head out every Sunday with a buddy for 300-350, usually to WV, but also some good riding on either side (or the top) of the Blue Ridge. When I move my bike down I'm riding the Blue Ridge Parkway the whole way. Also looking forward to Caesar's Head and of course Deal's Gap.:D

We'll get together, ride and jam.
Realtor came yesterday...house is on the market next week.
I've already found a few places in WNC...stopped really looking cause I can't buy till this place closes.
