Nashville TN 9/26, Flatpicking Showdown

Mario and Jenny Proulx ( www.proulxguitars.com ) are hosting an after hours showcase in the Nashville Convention center at IBMA this year. It will be a 45 minute set on Tuesday, September 26. There are five artists to share the stage together and just pick whatever comes up. It's quite a line-up, if you are anywhere near the area you shouldn't miss this one. The line-up is: Bull Harman, Tim Stafford, David Grier, Bryan Sutton, and Allen Shadd (yes, I'm by far the weakest link in THIS chain!lol). Sounds like a good one, Allen. And yeah, nothing makes you feel more like an amateur than hanging around one of these flatpickin' events. Allen's pal won the one up here in Mayville--a kid (well ok, in his 20's but a kid to me!), and he had Clay Hess looking crosseyed. The last place guy couldda played rings around me; it wouldda been like shooting fish in a barrel. Sorry I can't be there to hear you guys...I'm sure you'll hold your own, Allen! :lol:
