Okay, normally when I say SASS! (Susan Urban & I) will be playing a "free" show there is a tip jar and a nice little pile o' CDs involved. Not this time!!! This one is totally FREE, open to the public, no tipping remotely possible, much less allowed. No CDs, even--they're still at Oasis being pressed and printed and won't be ready till Labor Day weekend (Fox Valley Folk Festival). And we'll be sharing the stage with one of the most illustrious folk acts in the country!

Here be da details:

Sunday, Aug. 20, 7 pm (rain or shine), SASS! and the inimitable Lou & Peter Berryman (yup, quite possibly the only duo in folk music wackier than we are) alternate two half-hour sets apiece with a possible concluding round-robin at the
RAVENSWOOD MANOR PARK CONCERT SERIES
Ravenswood Manor Park (duh)
N. Manor at W. Eastwood (adj. to the Rockwell CTA Brown Line stop, between Lawrence and Wilson Aves.)
BYO seating, though there will be some benches available. BYO food and beverages, though there is a lovely little cafe next to the park selling excellent coffees, teas, sodas, juices, pastries, salads and savories.

Oh, and did we mention it's FREE? You can't even attempt to give us money!

Just a reminder--our FREE concert---SASS! (Sandy Andina & Susan Urban) and Lou & Peter Berryman is TOMORROW night, 7-9 pm, Ravenswood Manor Park, Manor & Eastwood ( 1 bl. w. of the Chicago River at Lawrence, then 2.5 bl. s. to the park. Adjacent to the CTA Brown Line Francisco St. station. Original funny folk music--guitars, dulcimer, banjo and accordion!

And our CD is here, ahead of schedule. We'll sell you a copy *if* you insist, but come listen anyway regardless! BYO seating, though some limited park bench spots are available. Good refreshments for sale at a nearby cafe, but you are welcome to bring your own (it's a city park, so no alcohol). We get paid the same princely sum no matter how few or many show up, but we'd sure love to see some friendly faces in the audience!
