I just had to say THANKS again to all the awesome people at Taylor.
You guys have no idea how much you blessed all of us at the event. What a special group of people you are!!! I have always loved my Taylors, but somehow after being at Taylorstock and meeting all you guys, they mean even more to me.

Bob Taylor was one of the most congenial, down-to-earth persons I have ever met. I have to say that his attitude about life and work is supremely reflected in the folks that work for him. To say that they are phenomenal is an understatement. If you could bottle and sell the "Taylor spirit" that we saw in the Taylor employees, it could revolutionize American businesses. Kudos to all of you, you were so kind and accomodating to us. You made this event a once in a lifetime memory for each and everyone who attended.
Jonathan, thanks for all your hard work and for pulling the event together.

Ed, I saw how patient you were as you coordinated each guitar order, you were wonderful sir! Hope your daughter's upcoming wedding is just beautiful. Don't forget to watch Father of the Bride I and II after it's all over with.

You guys are THE BEST!!! :D

I've known that for years ... actually, I've longed to work there for years ... and every time someone at the Factory says I should just work there, I really wish I could ... but the only thing I've done with wood (besides play it), is pound a nail into it ... crooked ...

You know, that's probably the main reason I go there as often as I do. I used to think it was to see the wood (and that's a pretty big part of it, too) ... but I really love the people there. I remember after I took delivery of the PS, I had a real let down after I realized I didn't have an excuse for going there weekly anymore. Before they went on Christmas vacation, I felt like I had to go back and wish them all a blessed Christmas.

You could help them give tours. Jonathan told me that they are getting so many people taking the tours that it's becoming a strain for them since there are only a couple people who give the tours. Besides, no one knows that factory better then you. If I lived in San Diego or had a place to stay for a few months during the summer, I'd go to the factory and help give tours. I think that would be a blast!

If Michael can get a job there, then I'm sure you can also.

TaylorSmitten,

Great post. You summed up the experience very well. What a great weekend - great people, great place, great CEO, and a great guitar!
