I already have tickets to the concert! I thought the workshop was $40 but I guess that includes a ticket? What exactly goes on at these workshops? Is it worth going to that also?

That's also the question I have in mind. This is the 1st time I will be attending a Juber workshop, if ever- I'm having a challenge trying to fit a 2pm workshop and a 6 pm concert schedule. I really hope I can go to both. But I guess FWIW, we can meet personally and we can meet and network with other guitar enthusiasts in our area.
Anyway, below is a link with pics of LJ during one of his workshops.

Laurence Juber runs a great workshop. If you can get to one, by all means go!
Over at the UMGF, we had our 5th annual get-together last weekend in Nazareth, PA. We were fortunate enough to have a free concert on the evening of Sunday, August 6 by LJ. He has got to be the world's finest guitar fingerpicker. The next day, we had a workshop with him, real close up and personal, for over 2 hours. He also stayed at the hotel where we were all staying and jammed with us Monday night for hours.
We also had a free flatpicking concert and workshop by Clay Hess (a national flatpicking champion) and Jack Lawrence, who is Doc Watson's touring partner. They jammed with us on Friday and Saturday nights at the hotel as well. And so did Ron Peterson and Ed Bruce, both nationally known singer-songwriters.
And, before I forget, the Kingston Trio gave us a free concert on Sunday, went out to dinner with us, and then joined us for singing and playing back at the hotel that night.
Quite a weekend!
