Southern CA, AGF Get Together 8/26/06

Howdy So. CA folks,
We are having an AGF Get Together on 8/26/06. It is being hosted by Koaguitarman (Russ) & Koa Lady (Twyla) @ their home in Downey, CA. There will hopefully be two special traveling guests @ the Get Together.
1. dobieboy (Michael) and his wife are on vacation in CA, and plan on being in Downey on 8/26/06.
2. Bobalouie3 (Russ) and family are moving from Germany to CA and plan on being in Downey on 8/26/06.
Let's show these two members just how much fun we have @ our So. CA AGF Get Togethers.

We get together and play guitars, talk about guitars, and just have a good time. There is no pressure to play or sing, but you'll have more fun if you do.

Bryan, I think you would enjoy one of these. You can bring your wife (and child?) and enjoy yourself playing, meeting, and visiting with other guitar lovers. And you can even play for us (much less pressure than playing for PB!). It's a 'guitar party' - something I'd never attended before joining this forum. :)

Once again, I am hoping to make it. Our house is up for sale right now, so it all depends on how (and when) that goes. I haven't been to one in SoCal since the one near Oceanside in early '04. It would be great to see you all again! :)

Where in Northridge are you playing? That is very close to me. They usually begin in the early afternoon and end whenever. You could join us at the start and then leave for your gig when you need to. Perhaps I will too. I would enjoy hearing you play more than one song! ;)
