So. Floridians Want To Come To Miami ?

If anyone would like to come to Miami, Florida before the end of summer, I'll host at my home. There are plenty of hotels within a mile, some cheap, some more money. There are also plenty of varied restaurants, but I'd be happy to supply steaks, dogs or deli meats... No reason we can't make more of a weekend from it and eat breakfast out, lunch and dinner in...

We have a large back patio with ceiling fans, neighbors who like music and no dog or cat anymore, (for the allergic among us). There are 7 acoustic guitars here if you can't travel with your "children."

If you felt like recording something, my conputer setup is always ready.

Thoughts?

I'm not exactly from South Florida, but I do have a few questions:
1. Mind if we just kinda hang out on that back patio?
2. How long can we stay?
3. Think we can get Don Johnson, that Miami Vice guy, to autograph something for us?
4. Do we need have to get a passport and learn the language?

Never mind. I just figured out that even if I bought a moped, it would take the Gross National Product of about three small countries to buy the gas to get there. Still, it sounds like fun!

There might be some golf involved... I hadn't thought about that because I didn't know whether everyone would play. I don't want to leave anyone out.

I'm kind of thinking along the lines of Labor Day weekend because that's when I used to go away and now don't.

If I can doit earlier, I certainly will. My wife and I are going to talk about it this weekend.

End of summer, like in start of school (mid-August), or end of hurrycane season (end of Nov)? ;)

I have some weekends free, & some not... not sure which though... w*rkload is all up in the air, incl. a trip to bama, probably mid-Aug for that... Labor Day weekend would likely work for me.

so I guess that's a tentative yes ... I don't golf, but don't let that keep the rest of ya from working a game in ... I know how to occupy myself otherwise.

Miami this summer isn't working out. My daughter and her husband are going to Europe for two weeks before and a week after I was hoping to have guests here, so we're babysitting the grandkids while they're gone. For the time being, I have to look for some other dates. I'll let everyone know when I can figure it out.
