I'd hate to be the ONLY one in a tux! It would make the rest of you look so, well, bad.:) I'm kidding.
But I have been assuming that Taylorstock will be a very casual event. I do not plan on bringing a sport jacket or a suit or a tie, just sort of jeans and a polo shirt.
Is this right?

Didn't they outlaw ties in California?
I'm planning on shorts and golf shirts...

For me, it's gonna be shorts, polo shirt, a tevas (sandals). But that's what I wear in Colorado anyway.

......I certainly hope that my shorts (multi-pocket hiking type) along with Genuine Taylor Logo T-Shirts will be appropriate for most of the occasion......and my Genuine Taylor logo button up shirt for either the Friday or Saturday night event.......

You should wear your Taylorstock shirts. Otherwise casual attire is fine. You'll be outside eating lunch. It might be pretty hot.

Hey J.R.,
Since we're not staying at the T & C, and I won't see you until we get there Friday at lunch, could you have my t-shirt washed and pressed for me?

There's a restaurant here, Pinnacle Peak, that will remove your tie if you walk into the restaurant wearing one. The downside is that they'll remove it with a pair of scissors. They have display cases with, literally, thousands of ties which they have relieved from their respective owners...

Hot? HOT??? During the summer months, El Cajon is only a mile from the sun.
As my brother likes to say, El Cajon is "Africa hot"...

I'm going to wear my standard every day attire:
dark socks, sandals, an atheltic supporter and a smile. Nothing else is really necessary.

It aint too bad...forecast is for 85 degrees at El Cajon and 74 in coronado :D
That will feel amazing after being in 95 degrees and sticky all summer...
Though the thunderstorms we had last night kicked the temp today down to around 80, and about 72 when i drove to work- felt DIVINE!

There's also a Pinnacle Peak in Tucson where they do the same thing. I know people who would purposely go there and wear a tie because they loved having it cut off.
Great steak and at great prices (at least in Tucson). You won't be paying $20-30 for prime rib or filet minon at this place. :) mmmmm...I'm getting hungry now.

I sure can't wait for the weather. I just hope it doesn't dip below 80 while we're there. As Ryan said, it's 80 here today and I had to wear pants and a long sleeve turtle neck sweater because I was cold. I would like to wear shorts the whole time I'm in San Diego, but I'm bringing a pair of jeans just in case.
Jennifer :D
I've brought six pairs of shorts, less t-shirts (as I'm getting some here) and 1 pair of sandals (1 pair of sox (in case it gets cool) and underwear LOL!)
I've got a LOT more technology than wardrobe.

I'm coming from 100+ degree heat - not planning on wearing long pants if I can help it. Shorts all the way ;)
