Well, it looks like my lazy tourist family weekend in NYC will be briefly interrupted by a gig! I will be the Featured Artist before the "Catharsis" Open Mic at Cattyshack in Park Slope on Mon, 7/3. Here are the details:
CATHARSIS night at
CATTSHACK, 249 4th Ave. (bet. Carroll & President St.) 718-230-5740
Sign up at 8 if you want to play the open mic; show starts at 9pm.
$3 cover.

If you don't want to drive (and try to find parking), take the R train to Union St. or the F/G to 4th Ave./9th St.
It is eclectic, to say the least--and the drinks are inexpensive. (You can even smoke outdoors on the deck). Be prepared for a very varied line-up (and be reassured that no matter what you play you won't be out of place....but best to leave the P&W repertoire home that night! :ha: )
