Let me know if you are planning to come by posting here, PM or email.
I'll send you an email with directions.

Let's start at 12:01 PM and just keep going.

Bring your instruments, some music to share, and you bathing suite if you want to swim.

If you want to bring some drinks and munchies, that would be great too. When we get hungry we'll send out for pizza or????

There is plenty of parking.

Yes, it will probably be hot - about 90 - 95. I'll be running the air conditioning so no worries.

I'll be there!

And I might drag the wife along if nobody minds!

Yay! I'm going to an acoustic guitar forum party! I'm figuring out who's coming, but I'm guessing I'll be bringing my 15 yr old son. He plays guitar, bass, drums, alto & baritone sax.

I'll be there, with the guitar in one hand and food or drink in the other. Just let me know what to bring, Steve.

I've asked a few So Cal luthiers to come too. Four have replied with either "yes", or "sounds good I hope to make it".

I'd love to be there! But... once again... time and distance... and other obligations at this point. Sometime, though. Have a blast!

Steve,
Twyla and I will be there. Do you need any sound equipment? What else can we bring?

I can't bring much, unless someone wants a didjeridoo... :)

I have a request. Last time was fun and it was great to play with all of you, but I'd really like to hear some originals that you guys have written. We did some of that last time and maybe I was a bit late so I missed some of it, but it seems like we did a lot of popular songs that everyone knows and not many originals. I'd love to hear everyone's stuff.

If someone has a small PA and wants to come early and leave late, that would be great.

Almost all my chairs have arms, so if you have armless chairs....
(Thanks for asking, but the answer is no - I talked to my wife.
I can't cut the arms of any of the chairs. :D )

Steve,
I will bring mine, it's not small but I will have it in the car anyway. It's not that hard to set up and I will come early and stay late!

Please let me know if you are coming. I'll email and/or PM directions this weekend.

Did I mention that Tim McKnight will be here?

OK, Tim couldn't make it, but I'll have a guitar of his to play if FedEx does their thing!.. How cool is that?
It is a Adirondack/Koa dred.

RussWoo Hoo! :)

Will I need to get a couple of lines of 220 to the back yard?

Is anyone bringing a drum/bass/djimbe etc....

How about if everyone brings munchies or drinks - your choice. There is a couple of grocery stores right off the freeway exit, about 5 minutes from my house, so it is easy - no worries. :D

Don't forget about the pool - bring your swimsuit.

220?!! That must be one powerful PA system! ;)

I'm bringing a djembe. And an egg shaker, so you'll need a mic if you want to hear the vocals over that bad boy! :)

Hey Steve,
Your package is in CA and should be there on Tuesday ;)

HI Russ,
Since you are the resident KOA expert, I would truly appreciate your honest thoughts, comments and or a review of my KOA/Adi that will be at Steve's. I only have about 6 or 7 KOA guitars under my belt so far and I would be interested in how it compares to your current stable. TIA....

Tim,
It would be my pleasure to give my thoughts on your guitar. Can't wait to see and play her.

Hi Steve
So far we'll have about 8 members for sure (I emailed Al/Tommy but didn't get their responds yet, you might as well call and talk to him on his cell, you still have his number, right?)
I have some tentative plan, since we will have that small group of 8 or so.
How about before we get into jam sessions we can do something like Open mic first?
If each of WILLING participants wants to do his solo open mic then each of them can take turns to entertain the rest of us.
To prevent boredom(or whatever) we can restrict the time for each of us say 20 minutes max, and then we can keep on rotating all of us just like musical chair until we all get tire of that.
I'm sure each of us has a lot of talent to offer and to entertain all of us.
I was thinking about bring my Giging PA, but since Russ always has his in his car so that should be better than mine in all respect.
I also thought about bring my Bass/Amp, but we won't have TJ and his drumset so it'll be an overkill for any electric bass anyway.
So now I injected my idea, what about yours, people?
Let's make it a "Saturday at Steve's" as fun as possible and again thank you Steve for your hospitality! :) :D

Hey Nap,
Just bring the bass, it can plug right into my mixer and go through the PA. That way it won't be overkill...... I like the open mic idea alot!
