Man, maybe I should have kept that top. :D Seriously, that is one of the baddest guitars I've ever seen. I even dig the abalone and that usually is not my thing. The sinker flows so nice with the coco and MBW!!! I started to sweat when I saw those pics, can't wait to hear how it sounds.- WOW

I have a couple of sets of Sinkerwood tops and they ring like a bell! Absolutely AMAZING tone.....

coco binding will be so amazing! I want a sinker CEDAR top. How awesome would that be?

Good thing you passed on that top! The guitar sure looks wild. I was at first hesitant on the sinker top, but now I know I've made the right choice. I'm sweating waiting for the guitar to come. I recently played two doerr guitars that have just arrived here from Tom, and I must say that they exceeded my expectations. For a young and relatively new luthier, Tom is amazing. His guitars are as good as my other guitars, all made by more established and experienced luthiers.
