Going to the Festival in Wartrace TN. Hope to take the Gallagher tour!

June 2 and 3, I think. The poster is at my local music shop. We are going for the weekend. I am not in charge of the travel arrangements (hotel and such). Someone else is handling it!

A few years ago they held this as part of Doc Watson's 80th birthday celebration, and I was fortunate enough to play at it. Don Gallagher is some of the finest people you will ever meet. ;)

Shoot - got a conflict that weekend - and its just down the road from my house (well an hour down the road). Maybe next year.
I went back in the mid 80's when they had a flatpicking contest. Steve Kaufman was there that year. Hot hot HOT weather, high humidity, and a thunder storm. Ahhh, bluegrass festivals! :)
