Gauging Interest -- E. Central FL Get-together

Thinking about arranging something for a Saturday event in the KSC/Cocoa Beach area of Central FL in the first part of May 2006 (like in a month or so)....anyone wanta play some guitar?

I'm going to try and get an outdoor pavillion at the KSC recreation park if there is any interest....I'll work out the PA and we can talk about food, drink, etc......should be ok for heat and prior to hurricane season...

June will work, too!!! I wouldn't want to go past early-to-mid June, but if that timeframe works for more people, we can do that.....

September, I don't think so, Wade.....I want to see, meet, and hang out AGF folks, not evacuate past them on I-95...("June, too soon, September, remember")...too freakin' hot, anyway...might melt the finish on some of the brands...

I might be able to make it down there...my grandkids live in the area. Late may would be good, too. June I'm on nights. Very interested.

I'm certainly willing to consider a road trip, but it just depends on the dates. And, if my job changes (which I hope) that could affect things too. But, heck--I'll check back to see when the final date is and I'll try to make it down there.

OK..... since there's a modicum of interest, I'll check the possible venue.....if the number of players stays small, we can just do it at my house

Count me in too, tentatively. You know how life pops up from time to time... but I don't think I have any weekends tied up around then...
