Anyone up for another Lake Houston Get-Together at the Lake Houston Marina in Huffman, Texas?

We would need to set a date, Start getting a count of people who would like to attend, and put together a menu.

Menu possibilities:
1. (Same as before) BBQ Chicken & Crawfish
2. Beef & Chicken fajitas cooked on a open pit
3. Open for suggestions

Let me know what you guys think

Sometime in April too soon? Much later and it'll likely be too hot.

Fajitas sound good to me.

Any Saturday Starting with April 15th thru May 27th would most likely be the best times due to tempatures and humidity conditions here.

I'm open for most times between now and October, with June 15-18 being the exception. But let's just see how many people are willing to sign up before we set a date, no?

Chicken & crawfish sounds good to me...I mean, "if it ain't broke..."

I'm usually available most weekends, but we've been gigging a lot lately and I'm teaching on Sundays now, so I need to know in advance to plan for it.

Just keep me posted. ;)

Since Taygull has seen this post, I hate to say anything. But this year looks much better for me since weekends are usually free these days.

You don't understand, I am convinced Hondo is product of a "smart machine". One of the PC's that has a mind of its own, Hondo is not a real person. Just a blob in cyberspace that has enough intelligence....or lack thereof to create bunches of useless post on the AGF. :)

Just saw this thread. The only open weekend for me in April is April 15 (yes I am way too busy). It would be after our gig Friday night. And, yes, the only weekend in May I am open is May 6. June 10 or 17 (at this point) will work for me.

I would be more than happy to work around Steve as far as my schedule is concerned.

The only thing I can't change is if we end up having a gig that weekend. As of right now, I don't have anything in April except for April 1st, we have a special show that's sponsored by AT&T and supposed to be webcast.

I'm happy to get together also. I agree about the weather thang, but I don't care as long as we get to play. Steve has my schedule, so if you get Tim, you'll also get Bob

So far it looks like April 15th will work out best for everyone. If this is good with everyone I'll set it up at the Marina. Hopefully this will not be to short of a notice for some of the guys. Next year I will try to get this started sooner.

It looks like we will be having BBQ Chicken, and Crawfish with potatoes and corn on the cob. I'll try to remember to throw a little garlic in the crawfish for jeffrey.

Last year from what I remember we had right at 50 people attending. I don't know know who ate all that Chicken, but it disappeared!! I was to busy eating the Crawfish to keep up.

Let me know if this is good with everyone.

Guys and Gals,

We need to be prepared to donate some funds so Guitarman does not have all the cost himself.

I'll let him tell us what is fair!

Just FYI, this is Easter weekend. April 14 is Good Friday, and Sunday is Easter. It doesn't affect me, but it may impact others.

Hrm.

I may be out of town that weekend.

Still a ways off though. It's a personal/family trip. I may be able to plan it sooner.

The date is not set at the Marina as of yet. Do we want to pick another date so that more people can attend?
