All,
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but I need to change the date of the party to Saturday April 1. Same bat time, same bat schedule, etc. Any and all who can make it are welcome.

So are you serious or is this a mean April Fool's Day joke? I don't want to show up at your house and be laughed at for believing the thread. ;) hahaha!
If it is real, then I'll be there.

I actually might be able to make this one... depends on the length of the drive as I have to work Sunday night and other sight variables... but we'll see, eh?

Okay, I'm out for 4/1, too. March is shaping up to be so busy and I'll be on the road for a couple of weekends that month, and I'm going to try and make Merlefest later on in April...a bit much driving for me, for a rather short period, if I try to make it to this as well. But, one day, I will. ;) Hope y'all have a great time, and someone take some pictures when everyone gets together (and not just of the guitars!)...

I'm thinking it will start around 11. I'll serve lunch and we'll hang for the afternoon and go to dinner in the evening. I'm going to try to get a private room at a local place - no promises, but hopefully it will work out. I'm thinking we'd eat dinner around 6.
Eric, I'll send you a PM shortly.

Hi John, I think Heather and I can make it. We have a gig later that day but not until like 7:30.

I haven't confirmed 100%, but there's a nice restaurant in walking distance from my house in the "old" town section of my town. They have a basement room with a fireplace that might be a nice place to reserve, depending on how many people attend. Everyone still on board?

Thinking about praying about or praying about thinking about coming... You know how it is with my wife's illness... :)

Yeah, man! Would love to hear it through the Bose system. I've acquired some V Drums in the last year and will have those set up so hopefully we can do a little rockin'! :)

I talked to the one restaurant and they no longer are using their basement room with the fireplace, but they recommended a neat place down the street. The menu is a little "uppity" for my taste, but we could have a private room and possibly a sound system. Also, for those who went last year, it would be a much better situation than the little mexican place. TRUST ME! :)
I would guess a meal would run $20 to $30 each. The other option is to forget the sound system / open mic thing and just go eat at a more reasonably priced establishment. Feel free to PM feedback if you don't want to post on the thread.

Me too on the "uppity". ;)

I'm cool with whatever works out.
I don't mind "uppity" prices; the company alone is worth it. As long as we ain't gotta wear no ties or nuttin' like that. ;)
Of course, I'd also be agreeable if the plan was to grab microwave dinners at the nearest 7-11, so my input isn't exactly helpful. :D

My travel plans to DC have changed, looks like it will be late April/Early May before I get back to DC. Bummer, first one I've missed in 2 years!

John,
Thanks for opening up you home once again. You are the man!
I plan on attending as well. I have a fantastic Eastman 810ce jazz box that is my new number one. I'll be sure to bring it for all to play. I've sold my JD and 712 nylon and have been moving into the jazz direction... a whole different critter...
See everyone April 1.

John, you still in Warrenton?
I'll actually be in town that weekend (my hometown of Fredericksburg, that is...), so I could attend, but I'll be tied up with family the whole time (this is a good thing--we haven't all been together in over three years). We also have friends who just had their third child, so we'll be spending some time with them as well.
While I was stuck out in Texas, I always wished I could make the NOVA gatherings. Now I'm back east, yet I still can't make it.

Yup, Still in Warrenton. Sorry you can't sneak away for a few hours, but I know how it goes. Maybe next time. :)
