Now that we're inside of a month until this whole thing happens, is it too early to start discussing how we'll all be meeting up, especially given the fact that people (namely Tim) will arrive as early as Tuesday?

The dinner on Thursday sounds like a winner, to be sure. Is anyone other than Tim arriving between Tuesday and Thursday evening?

Im getting in thursday around noon, but I think I am going down to coronado for the day, then meeting up with yall for the dinner at 8:30.

I think i may visit some of the old friends at the Del and maybe use their facilities and lounge around for the afternoon there :)

We still don't have a time for our flight. I have to work Thursday, so will probably be getting in quite late. I think we are going to rent a car so we could help transport people.

I guess I will try and meet people on Friday morning. How late do you guys think you might be up playing guitar? Any thoughts on where you are going to do that?

I am really getting excited about this trip. Can't wait to meet everyone.

I'm coming in on Sunday, the 4th and staying through the 14th (work related), but isn't it a shame that it happen to coincide with TaylorStock and I happen to have those days open. ;)

I will be up in Carlsbad area till Thursday, but if some want to get together for dinner Tues or Wed I'd be happy to join up. On Thursday I get to pickup my wife at the airport about 1pm and then will head over to the hotel to checkin. I'll have a rental car, so I'll have some room for transporting people.

Anybody else needing a ride from the airport to the hotel at about ~1pm on Thursday can probably hitch a ride with us. Should have a intermediate sized car (whatever that size that is).

Hope the non-Taylor guitar is doing well ... I think about him occasionally ... though I certainly play the NS alot more in a month than I ever played that guitar since I could barely finger any notes on the sixth string and had difficulty on the fifth ...

We look forward to seeing you too, and the 'non-Taylor' is doing well. He gets out about once a week to visit with me :) any more than that and the 'Taylors' get jealous. :roll: I'm still learning but it is coming along (at least in my ears...:) ).

I agree! Let's figure somewhere in the hotel to meet up on Thursday. I'm flying on on Thursday morning, but I'm meeting with Taylor most of that day. Lets have a get-together in the evening or something... I'm hoping that the hotel will let us jam somewhere. Maybe they'll even open up an unused ballroom or something.

well....we should set something up so those of us who get there on Thurs. night can do a pre-Taylorstock check-in. That way those people can have their t-shirts ready to throw on for Fri. and we won't have to worry about checking everyone in at once. This will also allow us to have a good headcount for the dinner. So I propose that we set up a mini-checkin station in the lobby for Thurs. night about 1-2 hours before we head off for dinner.

I'm assuming that the rest of the check-ins are going to happen at the factory on Fri. If about a couple dozen of us are checked in on Thurs. night it would make life a lot easier and run smoother on Fri. That's just a suggestion....or maybe it's just that I want my t-shirts NOW. hehehe :roll:

Another idea is that everyone who owns a Taylor t-shirt should wear it on Thurs. night while at the hotel. That is a sure fire way to recognize who is in our group.

I can always think of more ideas if you want them. :lol:

I will be at the hotel to check in on thursday before 5:00pm I hope,
or very shortly after if there is traffic.

I have room for 2 people if anyone needs a ride to Dave & busters thursday night, and also to to the Factory on Friday and Saturday.

Just ask the desk for Mike and Connie Carter,

they will put you through to my room. or just leave a message if we are not there with your room# or a place and time to meet in the Lobby.
