David Grier and Allen Shadd/Gainesville, Fl 1/14

For those within the area of north and north central Fla, I will be performing a show, along with my trio, on Saturday, January 14th in Gainesville Fla, at the Oak Hall Auditorium, 8009 SW 14th Ave. David Grier will headline the show, and then he and I will perform together. Showtime is 8PM, doors open at 7. Tickets are 10$ and available at Hyde and Zeke Records, and Omni Books in Gainesville, or call 352-514-7144.

Some of you are familair with David Grier. For those of you not, he's the most award winning acoustic guitarist of his genre, being voted Guitar Player of the year by IBMA 4 years, and recording on several Grammy winning projects. You can learn more about him and his music at www.davidgrier.com and if you were to ask my opinion, he is the most innovative and creative flatpicker alive, since Clarence White.

David will also be in Tallahassee on Sunday night, but I just spoke to the promoter and it appears to have sold out. There are some tickets still available for this show in Gainesville, however. I just heard from someone that caught his show in Tampa last night and was still pretty stoked about it. This will be a good one.

Sorry I won't be able to make the show. I would have given serious thought to adding a short side trip onto my next visit to Atlanta, but I won't be down there until the end of the month.
