even though it's the week after,
we just wanted to say THANKS!!!
to everyone that came and truly made this event what it was
thanks for taking for blocking out the time
and doing whatever it took to get over to monroe
(whether it be by flight or road trip)
thanks to those that participated in open mic,
the workshops, and the jam sessions
(pre-MS V wienie roast I was very cool)
thanks for the help (special thanks to lauren, rick, mary helen)
and to everyone for pitching in to break it down
(john, thanks for bringing the PAS so jim could take a little breather)
i know marion, skip, jason, and jim don't get on here much
(i'm not around much either)
but i'm sure that they share the same sentiments that
y'all make it worthwhile to do this event year after year
and what they put into it comes back to them many times over
rascal flatts has a good point -
"you're heart and the soul and the reason we do what we do..."
so "HERE'S TO YOU!!!"
only 358 days until MS VI
10.21-06
hope to c-ya then... if not sooner :)

Michael,
This was my first MonroeStock event and I had a blast, definitely worth the flight and the drive to Monroe! You guys did a great job taking care of us, thanks for all the behind-the-scenes work! MonroeStock VI, here we come!

MikeW,
Many of us who traveled for MS 5 can not get over being thanked by you and the rest of the Holloway bunch....when you did all the work and graciously hosted us.....to say that we appreciate and utterly enjoy coming to Monroe every year is classic understatement
OBTW, for those who might be interested

MIchaelW - it is we who should be thanking you and the rest of the Holloway's gang, and Rick Crider, for making the efforts to put this event on. This year was my first MS, and I had a great time.
I am really going to try and make it next year!

This was my third year, and every year seems better then the last. Holloway’s has been simply wonderful stepping up to the plate and funding this event. I made a trip up there yesterday and purchased a mahogany Baby Taylor. The entire staff of the store are always friendly, and ready to help out however they can. We need to remember to support them with our guitar and accessories purchases to show our appreciation of what they do for us.
I’m looking forward to next year!
PS. Also don’t want to forget to thank Rick for his time and efforts he put forth organizing this every year.

I gotta add that it's been tough being back at work after such a fun weekend. Blegh! I've wasted what little time I can, where I can waste it, but mostly it's more work than ever. Total bummer, dude.
Is it next year yet? lol

Michael,
I just want to again thank YOU and your Holloway's family for the best Saturday of the year. Also thanks again for the use of your guitar in open mic. Everyone that I've emailed the pictures to that Lauren took has complimented me on what a beautiful Taylor I have. LOL! :D
