I am coming to taylorstock by myself from New York and really don't want to drop the change on a room to myself. If anyone is interested in splitting a room email me at cmoody@friendshipdairies.com

That's cool to see that we're going to have more people my age there. Yeah! You should have no problem finding someone to split a room with. Who wouldn't want to save a few bucks at the hotel?

I know I'm also hoping to find someone to split a room with or else I'll be staying at a cheaper hotel. Too bad you're not a girl. (at least I don't think you are since I saw you sign your name as Carl on another post...hehehe)

If I get desperate I may not mind splitting with a guy, but until then I'll be keeping my eye out for another girl.

Hi Jennifer,

I would be interested in splitting a room with you. and I am a girl...heck, I'm a 48 year old Grandma:rolleyes:
Are you going to be there on Thurs, Fri and Sat?
Let me know, I will be driving there from Central California so you would not have to rent a car, i would have mine. If you don't mind riding in an old '87 acura integra. you know, have to save those bucks for our Taylors!!!
If you need to email me with details...alangevin@spiralcomm.net
Let me know,
Rowan

Hey Now...I'm not a creep, I might be 24, but I think I can handle splitting a room with a girl. I will forward you references of women I have split rooms with before. They will tell you that I am very well behaved.

I'm just joking with you. Heck...I'm only 25. I know guys your age can be gentlemen, it's just becoming rare. I may not know you, but I do know that I'd have at least 50 other male and female Forum members there to protect me from any youngin' who wanted to get a little fresh. hehehe ;) In fact if I'm not mistaking, I may be the only Forum member of the female gender under 30 there (unless a new female member recently signed up to go).

Rowan....we can chat about splitting a room, but just to warn you I don't plan on normal sleeping habits for the weekend. I don't know if you plan on staying up late and hanging out with everyone, but I won't care too much about sleep for that weekend. :p You can let me know if you are a heavy sleeper and don't mind if I come into the room late at night. (I have to do at least one 2am mexican food run!) I just don't want to give you any surprises. I think we should also start a specific roommate thread. Even if you decided that you want more of a quiet roommate, I'm sure there have to be other girls out there looking to room with someone. Just let me know. If I have to, I can always room with one of the guys. I'll just have to control myself. (just kidding!!!)

Excellent point. San Diego has some great night life, especially in the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown. There are all kinds of clubs down there with live music.

Anyone thinking about doing something like that?
