I was with you until that last part about you playing :p
Seriously, I'm going to raise my blood pressure to dangerous levels if you guys all keep playing there! :D

Wish I lived a little bit closer. ;)
After hearing David and Ace play while in CA last month, I'm itching to hear some more! I listen to the CDs, but it's not quite as cool as actually being there.
Have fun, guys!
JT - I'm going to play Song for Shannon tomorrow and will dedicate it to you and your daughter. And yes, it's still on standard tuning. I will record my version of the song for you very soon (as promised).

Coming to you live from beautiful downtown Walnut Creek and the glittering Pacific Coffee Company, David Moore and Ace Batacan tickling the strings in the corner.
David just finished his Bond Theme showpiece, and now gives us a rendition of Glenn Miller's "Moonlight Serenade" (I think).
We're sure lucky to have a sweet venue like this in our little town.

By the way, I'm going to be talking to them about hosting a regular open mic there (maybe once or twice a month). Late afternoon (maybe starting at 5:30 and going until 8 or 9pm). Most likely a weeknight, but we'll see. Still in the discussion stage.
Great seeing David, Ace and Fran down there :)
Sure wish I could have been there today. :) David is a pleasure to hear.

Hope it went well, David - your album is in my backpack Walkman fodder collection and had travelled many miles with me. You'll let us know when the Southern Hemisphere tour itinerary firms up? :)
DM - Thanks for letting me play some tunes yesterday. We had a great time listening to you play and do your stand-up routine.
Chris - thanks for the surprises! I'll try the PBs on my next change and will wait to hear about the singer.
Fran - great to see you. Have a wonderful time in Hawaii. I wish we could go with you!
JT - I played Song for Shannon but you're going to have to ask David or Chris how it came out. My wife liked it but then she may be a little biased. :)

Sorry I missed it yesterday, I'm sure it was great - my day was filled with family commitments. I always look forward to any chance to hear David and Ace play. Pacific Bay Coffee is turning into my favorite place to visit!

JT, you don't really have to ask us how "Song for Shannon" was. I'm sure you know it was really well done. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought Ace was taking up DADGAD

Sorry I missed you David. I'm kind of a football freak when the season begins and then I slowly but surely start getting bored of it. Happens every year and there's nothing I can do about it. Hey, I still need that James Bond! :)

This may be the coolest post about me EVER!! I have to admit I do get a thrill reading about someone on a different continent listening to my CD. Today hasn't started out oo well, so I really appreciate the "pick me up".
Sunday was very fun. Eiko was nice enough to show up and play a few songs. Guyute also played a song at the end of the show to wrap things up. Kanikapila was there and he kept cracking up every time I played the "stinger" chord in the James Bond Theme. It was a fun day! I REALLY like Pacific Bay Coffe Company.

Enrico? You were there? Why didn't you say hello? I didn't even see you!
I didn't see Enrico there either....
Was he really there? Maybe he got buried in the coffee bean pile that spilled by the grinder.
