Portland-based acoustic fingerstyle guitarist Mike Golay will be playing with his good friend and Solid Air Records recording artist Jim Tozier at Silly's (http://www.sillys.com) on Wednesday, July 27th. Come on out, have some tasty food and drink and hear Mike and Jim play through a wide range of styles including Celtic, folk, funk and world musics, among others.

My family is from Maine and I've been to Portland many times. Even worked in Freeport for a summer. I love Maine. Alas, I won't be able to make it to this show, but I've informed some friends/family in the area. Hope they can make it.

i should mention that this is an outdoor gig, on the patio at silly's, out back. if there is rain we won't be able to play (while it's raining). the forecast tomorrow is calling for a mixed bag. at the moment, possible rain early.

we'll do our best to get some music in regardless. usually when the forecast is like this i spend all day worrying and then everything is beautiful.
