some great players. a seminar or two and a competition. i'm thinking of doing the drive over and seeing the shows. i won't be competing and prolly won't hang out for the competition. anyone else going to be there?
it's in odessa, outside of kingston. anyone have any good tips for hanging out in the area? i've never been to ontario.
eh?

I didn't see Rush on the list of performers...
Kingston is a pretty small, sleepy town without too much happening as far as I know.
Alexandria Bay is pretty nice. Ottawa isn't too far, if you want nightlife. Hull, across the river from Ottawa, has a really nice casino. Of course, Montreal is a great city!

sleepy is good. where's my coffee?
i've always wanted to see montreal and i think my driving route takes me through there. sadly i don't think i'm going to have a ton of time to stop...
thanks for the info!

Mike congrats on time well spent. I had commitments this weekend and couldn't hookup (Lord know I wanted too!) I'm in Canada and this would have only been a three hour drive to get there. (it doesn't get much better that that) Can I assume it's in the same place every year?

bonjour ian,
yep, as far as i know. odessa fairgrounds. take the odessa/yarker exit off the 401 (i think it's exit 599) and head south through the light. first left you come to.
bring bug spray and beer. enjoy.
for those of you who are interested, i did a little writeup on cgf '05 here:
