That's right, last minute notice for a last minute booking :)
I'm playing at our favorite venue, Pyramid Alehouse in WC on Monday afternoon from 1-4.
Anyone who's not already busy and would like to come out and see me play I'd love to see you. Please leave your rotten vegetables at home :D
How 'bout eggs? I'm not a vegan. We might "drop" by. Not a promise but a warning.

Make it interesting. Try making it in 7/4 as well as on 7/4. The results could be... dramatic. :D
Good luck with the gig!

LOL! But I forgot how to play Estimated Prophet! Would've worked too, since the gig's in "California......preaching on the burning shore...."
Thanks Wade. Ace, I'll get ready to duck the barrage of flying debris ;)

Hey Chris,
It was a pleasure meeting you and listening to your last set yesterday. I really enjoyed your playing/singing style. And I think you almost sound more like Dave than Dave does ;-)
Speaking of Dave, what was that last song of his that you did?
Cheers...Bruce

Thanks for coming out Bruce. I was glad you were able to make it. As far as the Dave songs....well, I somehow managed to screw up my recording. I accidentally unplugged the MD recorder without stopping it and missed the entire last set! So I'm just going to have to guess, but I think it was Minarets. That's the one where I was doing the percussive thing you mentioned.
Anyway, come out and heckle the gang on Friday if you can. I know Brandt and David would love to see you too!

Heckling - allowed? I'm bringing my own plexiglass.

Other than the aforementioned sunburn, it was a lot of fun! I was surprised to find I had another set in me if the need had arisen! I forgot I could play a 3 hour show and have material that I didn't even touch on :)

Show off!! I'm tapped after about 90 minutes.

I didn't say I played them correctly. Fortunately, people don't seem to notice how horribly I mangle some of these songs!
