My wife and I stopped by around noonish and enjoyed some of David's excellent playing over a great cup of coffee. What terrific venue and a friendly crowd.
David you played great and sounded terrific. It was also a treat to meet Carol and your 14 month old son. We hope to see more of them at the next couple of events!
Great job! I hope this becomes a regular gig for you.

I had a great time at the performance, and really appreciated seeing some friendly faces in the audience. Hopefully there wil be some more gigs in the future.

David,
Sorry I missed your playing. Let us know where you'll be next time. I have never really posted here before but will do now. Pacific Bay Coffee looks like a nice venue. We go to W.C. all the time but I don't drink coffee so we don't go in there. Just sent them a note. Maybe I could play there as well to share my music with some folks.
I see Mr. Classicalman went to see you perform. If he says you're good, I believe him. I hope we meet someday.

If I'm not mistaken, David's gonna be at the next Pyramid Alehouse gathering on July 8th. Come on out, you'll really enjoy not only his playing, but Fran Guidry, The Real Placebos (featuring classicalman and mellowman), and all the other people who perform.
A bunch of really nice guys...well, except for me. Don't talk to me, I'm mean ;)
Chris,
This is actually Ace (secret agent codename = eiko). So I'm sure I'll see David soon. I was just with Fran last Sunday, exchanging songs. He's such a "slacker". :D Great player.

Yeah, Chris is a real monster. I once saw him kick a puppy, smack a kitten, yell at a little kid and curse Santa Claus. This was all BEFORE his traditional glass of scotch in the morning.

Shows how well you know me. I drink BOURBON in the morning. Scotch is a lunchtime repast :D

I'm looking for a corporate sponsor. I'm hoping that Depends of Metmuecil will be interested.

Seems like a perfect dual sponsorship, if you ask me. Now if you could only get the Sunsweet Prunes people onboard!

Argggh. Caught this thread a week too late. Sorry I missed you David. I'll try to keep a closer eye on this forum. Still planning on making the July 8th gathering.
Cheers...Bruce
