They took a lot of reservations apparently and that place is going to be packed! Luckily for me, a friend got the reservations for us.

What a great guy Doyle Dykes is! Every time I see him, I am amazed at his talent. Looking forward to getting Haley's new CD, too. She has a wonderful voice!

Nice to see you there Russ, and looking forward to seeing your photos.

Doyle was kind enough to sign my daughter's Maple Baby on the back of the headstock, as well as a GHS Strings poster for her birthday. One of our band members won a T5 T-shirt, and gave it to me!(might have had something to do with it being an XXL)

The thing that I am in awe of is that as great a guitar player he is, he is an even better person, and a very devoted family man. I urge you all to take the time to see him play live, it is quite an experience.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you more at Hix Brothers. Seems that the last two times now, all I get to say is "hello" and that's about it.

I'll send you a PM once the photos are ready.

I gave a disc copy to Doyle from the gig he played last month at Des Plaines Bible Church. He liked the photo that was on the disc itself, so hopefully he'll like the rest of the photos once he plays it on his computer.

Jerry and I stopped at the desk that Haley was at and the first thing she says is, "Hey... you guys look familiar!" I guess we are getting to be regulars at his Chicago gigs! :)
