Texas gathering, maybe?

So, I was thinking today.. My 20th(am I really THAT OLD!!?) birthday is Oct the 9th, and I can't think of anything I'd like more than to have a gather here at the farm with a bunch of guitar lovin' folks! We've got a big outdoor patio, with built in grill, two almost stage like wooden porches, LOTS of room and lots of Wimberley veiws to inspire the musical 'tude.

And heck, it's also John Lennons birthday!

Anyone interested? I'm just tossing the idea around, have to OK it with the 'rents, but I'm sure they'd probably say yes..


And birthday donations of money, guitars and amps would be most appreciated! LOL, no no- KIDDING!! .. Although, I do need money to get to the Australian Shepherd Nationals the end of Oct in GA(All I want for my birthday!!).

there's going to be a collings gathering 29 Sep to 02 Oct in wimberley. perhaps some sort of melding possibility there?

although i'm not sure how the taylor players would like being drowned out by the legendary d2h 'banjo busters' though! [g]

I won't be able to make a trip to Texas for your birthday, wish I could.
Next summer for NAMM in Austin for sure.
But, where are the trials at in Georgia you mentioned?
I might be able to help out there.

They are in Conyers, GA.. Which is northwest of Atlanta, if I am not mistaken. I've never been to Atlanta before(Nationals are in a different state every year), so I am just going by what they tell me! Any help is always appreciated! :D


I didn't know NAMM is in Austin next year! Now... I need to find someone to get me in... *Mission impossible music* or perhaps I'll sneak in! LOL.
