I'm kinda new on this forum, but was wondering if any of the members in the Jax area are going to this tonight? It would be kinda nice to meet some of you. I met Lisa at the Doyle Dykes workshop a few weeks ago. Here is a copy of the email that was sent out.

Allen Shadd will be performing on Thursday, May 12th at The European Street
Cafe and Listening Room at 1704 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville Florida. Along
with him the trio will consist of Terry Campbell and Steve Pruett. These
three performers together always have a good time that spills over to the
audience. If you're not familiar with them, here's a little info.
Allen Shadd won the National Flatpicking title at Winfield Kansas in 1997
and the Doc Watson International Flatpicking Championship at Merlefest in
1998. He has performed workshops around most of the country, as well as
participating in the guitar workshop at IBMA for several years. He's
recorded on numerous projects as well as his own recordings which have
included videos for MelBay Publishing. He has shared the stage with artists
ranging from Chesapeake to Tom T. Hall.
Steve Pruett performed on Allen's 'A Cut Above' recording and has also
performed with him over the years. His mandolin work has recently been heard
accompanying the likes of local favorites The Glass Camels as well as
legendary fiddler Vassar Clements.
Terry Campbell also performed on Allen's cd. But Terry may well be best
known either for his work on the 'Front Porch String Band' recording from
the early 80's, or as co-writer along with Ronnie Bowman and Jerry Nettuno
on the award winning song, 'Three Rusty Nails'.
This is their first appearance together in nearly three years, you don't
want to miss this rare opportunity. Showtime starts at 8:30PM and there is a
cover charge of $10. For more info call European Street at 904-399-1740.

Hope you guys have a great turn out. I am sure it will be an awesome show. Too bad I ended up with more week than paycheck or I would be there.
