Austin, TX, acoustic jam at Quincy's Guitars

I'm in the process of organizing a monthly acoustic jam at Quincy's Guitars (http://www.quincysguitars.com) in Austin, TX. This would be a small after hours acoustic jam/song circle. We're going to try this the first Thursday of every month from 7:00-9:00 pm. The first one will be Thursday, May 5. If you are interested I need you to email me or post here and let me know so I can give the owner, Pat Skrovan, an idea of how many to expect. Any brand of guitar or other acoustic instrument is welcome.

I'd certainly be interested. :) Thursday also works for me because my band does not rehearse currently on Thursdays.

Granted I'm not much of a fingerpicker or strummer, but I certainly appreciate nice guitars (and from the website it looks like he's got quite a few I'd love to check out) and good players.

Acoustic-wise I'm more into the Al Di Meola type thing but do experiment with a lot of open tunings.

Our June jam will be next Thursday, June 2, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. If you can make it please give Pat Skrovan at Quincy's a call or an email and let him know you'll be dropping by.

Our May jam had six players show up and a good time was had by all.
