Greetings from the Lone Star State!
The first Acoustic Circle was an overwhelming success. We will host our next gathering on Thursday April 14th. From then on we are looking at the 2nd Thursday of each month.
All levels are welcome to join us in an informal relaxed atmosphere, just bring a guitar.
Please give me a shout or e-mail if you would like to attend so that I can have a rough head count.
We will be in Frisco, Texas from 6:30PM to 9.
Beginners are welcome, and all acoustic players are encouraged to attend.
Please come to:
Anderson Guitar Gallery
6811 Oak Street
Frisco, TX 75034
214-387-4050
Thanks!

You know I'm in, +4 friends.
You should see if Woody Lee would come and do a 30-45 minute clinic before the jam!

And, if your website bio is correct, another computer consultant.
Man, you can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting either a guitar player or computer geek. :)

Hey guys,
Anybody going to the Dallas Guitar Show? I plan on being there most of this Saturday (Apr.9)...mostly to see the performances of Oreo Blue, Michael Burks, and Matt Eaton. Maybe we can all go as the "Taylor Gang";)...
Oh, and don't forget...
I'm still having the Friday evening open mic jam @ KC Hall in Irving (2609 Rock Island rd.). Everybody IS welcomed...

She couldn't, she didn't have any place to put the quarters. All she had were 1's!

We had a ball, a fantastic evening on the patio. Some really nice playing by some, a couple of great Melancamp sing a longs and a really good time. We had about twenty in attendance and I have put some pics on the website here:

The next one will be on Thursday May 12th, and you can check the events page on our website for the other concerts and gatherings we will be hosting.

I'd love to join y'all someday...but my church's music group practice is also on Thursdays...
But anyone of y'all are welcome to come down and "help" me with the Acoustic Open mic that I host @ Irving KC Hall (2906 Rock Island Rd.) every other Friday evenings...
Thanks,
Francis
Frisco?
20+ years ago I lived in Denton my band played in The Colony which is not far from Frisco if I remember correctly. One place we played a lot in The Colony was PK's Pub which in those days was a biker bar.
I miss north Texas.

Frisco is now huge! I would call it the "hot spot" to live in the Metroplex.
